Love, Sweet Love

Updated: May 16, 2019

Take a step back into time with this floral dream come true! How do you come up with a theme for your nuptials? If you are looking to add an element of whimsy with a theme wedding, it should be something that gives your guests a glimpse of the two of you as a couple. This week, let's take a step back in time with a 50's inspired wedding where the couple's mutual love of swing dance developed into a magical array of soda shop inspired centerpieces, brightly colored bouquets and special little elements that fit this couple perfectly!

These perfect old fashioned glass sundae cups made the beginnings of a perfect centerpiece!

After filling the bottom with flower petals and topping the them off with fluffy carnations and carefully placing the straws, these became the most precious, floral sundae center pieces!

These confections looked good enough to eat but wait until you see the complete look!

Red table runners, old vinyl records and these centerpieces carefully placed were the perfect throwback to a different time and place! These awesome creations did double duty as both center piece and table place card holder. Take a closer look at the glass Coca Cola bottles on the tables as well!

The bridal bouquets were classic white rose with brightly colored red daisy accents. Polka dot red and black and white bows, red and black tulle and beautiful greenery gave a classic clean look.

The bridal arch was a dream of red and white satin and a huge display of white roses, again with the daisy accents and delicate white baby's breath.

Everything about this wedding was a step back to another time and place. The couple chose just the right elements to represent themselves, making their wedding one that no one will soon forget!

Hope you enjoyed this wedding as much as we did!
